The Nonprofit Executive Exchange.
A peer-powered community for the Executive Directors, CEOs and senior leaders of Temecula Valley's nonprofits — modeled on the CXO Exchange, purpose-built for the nonprofit sector.
The Executive Director of a Temecula Valley nonprofit is CEO, CFO, fundraiser-in-chief, board wrangler, marketer and crisis manager in the same week — usually as the only person in the organization holding that whole load. There is real support for nonprofits in San Diego, Orange County and LA. Locally, there is a void. NPX exists to fill it.
NPX brings nonprofit executives together in four complementary formats — a confidential monthly peer forum, dedicated programming at the annual Summit, an ongoing local community, and deliberate cross-pollination with the region's business leadership.
Dedicated NPX programming inside the annual CEO/C-Suite Summit — nonprofit leaders in the room with the CEOs, C-suites and sponsors of the valley's "Big Small" companies.
A growing local network of Executive Directors, CEOs and senior nonprofit leaders, connected between events through LinkedIn and quarterly meet-ups.
NPX and CXO share the same "for peers, with peers, by peers" DNA. Events are designed to put nonprofit leaders and business leaders in the same room — where board talent, sponsorship and partnership actually get found.
Launching Q1 2027. A confidential, peer-advisory monthly forum where nonprofit leaders bring their real challenges — funding, board, staffing, succession — and get peer challenge in return.
Forum Leader: Kim Gerrish.
NPX is being explored with two career nonprofit executives who know the Temecula Valley sector from the inside — together with Mike Richardson and the CXO Exchange coalition.

Invitation only. We curate the room so every conversation is among true peers.
NPX isn't a side project bolted onto CXO. It closes a loop the region has been missing — nonprofit leadership, business leadership, and the community they both serve, mobilized together.
Local nonprofit leaders get the confidential peer forum they've never had, plus a standing presence alongside the executives who fund, board-serve and partner with them.
CXO's members care about this community. NPX brings the sector they give to into the same eco-system — a natural extension of the CXO / HRX family rather than a separate effort.
Business leadership, HR leadership and nonprofit leadership convened under one local banner — the "Big Small" region finally organizing at the scale it has grown to.
NPX would make its formal debut inside the 2026 Summit, with the announcement of the REF Temecula Valley Nonprofit Leader Peer Forum and dedicated NPX programming across the day.
The formal launch of NPX. Nonprofit Executive Directors and senior leaders attend alongside the CEOs, C-suite executives and senior leaders of Temecula Valley's "Big Small" companies — with dedicated NPX programming woven through the day.
See the Summit page →An ongoing monthly forum for member nonprofit leaders — bring your real issues, get peer challenge, leave with clarity and momentum. Modeled on the REF Nonprofit Leader Forum already running in San Diego and on the CEO Peer Forum that anchors CXO Exchange Temecula Valley.
An anchor 2027 gathering for the valley's nonprofit leadership. Hosted by the City of Temecula and co-hosted by NPX co-conveners Kim Gerrish and Tammy Marine — a full-day symposium for Executive Directors, senior nonprofit leaders and the funders, board members and business partners in their orbit.
A live Impact Auction staged inside the Summit day, raising funds in service of nonprofit members of the community. It is the clearest expression of what NPX is for: the valley's business leadership and nonprofit leadership in one room, with the room actually doing something.
Membership and attendance are by invitation. Tell us about you and your organization, and we'll be in touch about the right next step.
